Job Description:
Applied Materials is the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.
We are looking for bright engineer with a passion for software to join our team. The team is developing a distributed system framework used by various products for running and hosting compute intensive tasks. Using this framework our systems are being able to deploy and run image processing and machine learning algorithms at scale.

Requirements:
- Contributing in all development phases (from requirements to release)
- Designing and implementing new features
- Look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement.
- Work closely with other teams to collect requirements, design solutions and integrate new developed features.
- Supporting our customers, troubleshoot and fix software issues
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a server-side Python/Java/C# developer
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree
- Experience in cloud infrastructure-an advantage
- Experience with OOP, software design
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline
- Passion for software technologies, clean code, continuous improvement and learning
- Excellent teamwork
- Experience with machine/deep learning systems – an advantage
- Experience in python – an advantage
- Experience with multidisciplinary systems - an advantage
